Cream Puff 'n Custard



Puff Pastry:
100g butter
150g plain flour
4 eggs
250ml water
pinch of salt

  1. heat butter in pan with 250ml water. bring to the boil
  2. pour over with flour.
  3. stir continuously, until dough forms. remove fr heat.leave to cool
  4. breaks eggs into dough. mix well with hand blender
  5. leave to stand fo 1 hr
  6. using icing bag & star nozzle, squeeze out to square or circle pattern
  7. bake 200 deg C for 15-20min

Cream custard:
  • 1 tbs corn flour*
  • 1 tbs custard powder*
  • 4 tbs sugar*
  • 1 egg*
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tbs butter
  1. combine marked * with 2 tbs of evaporated milk. mix well
  2. pour remaining milk. mix
  3. cook in microwave for few min until thicken
  4. once thicken, stir every 1 min. until desired thickness
  5. for shining finish, stir in with butter.leave to cool
