note: Cake lagi kuning coz guna mixed fruit yg byk sultana ( colour kuning).yg lepas byk raisins (colour hitam). Juga kat atas tabur dgn sedikit chopped hazelnut.
Just baked this moist fruit cake yesterday. Enak sekali!!! But the surface of my cake had a big crack and took much longer than 1 hour to cook. Is it becos my oven was too hot? (although i did bake it at170C)I placed my cake on the oven rack one level lower than middle rack and covered with alum foil after 40 mins. Should we keep the cake a few days b4 cutting it - so tht the cake will become more moist? Anyway, for this cake - the kids n i tak boleh tahan tht long, we had some this morning for brekkie!:) Thks for sharing this lovely recipe!

dear lissa, big crack?may be temp the oven was too hot.but if just "crackline" is normal. glad u n kids love the recipe. i saw the picture, cantik la your cake. kalau simpan 2 hari dah cukup moist.

n, ade silap sikit la, heat problem. mmg sllu kene maen ngan temperature tu.. oven cikai je, tp banyak berjasa!
